lyrics

The human lived in a place that he called home for 12 years. In June it was, that life was at its peak for him. Early on in the month, he had run the fastest he would run for at least another 2 years and said his goodbyes to some of the greatest friends as they graduated from his school. Moments before his friends left, he asked them if they knew what had happened when he was in the 7th grade. They knew all along. He would see those friends time and time again throughout his adventures of overcoming adversity, but never again in the same manner. In the midst of this series of bright and sunny 30 days, he had begun working tirelessly, staying up all night, getting an hour of sleep before running in the morning, sleeping some during the day, and still managed to accomplish things that he would not accomplish ever again. He had already accomplished so much, but that was not enough for him. Although he was very productive and got a lot done, around the time summer rolled around, it was apparent that he had taken a completely wrong turn and decided to focus on the things that did not matter, rather than the things that did. He was selfless, but not in the right way. He realized that he needed to do something, something that he should have and could have done at the very start of the year, and fast, but working on and worrying about pointless things was still his number one priority. He failed at the task the first time, cried, and had no hope left. It was then, that people told him that he would have a second chance and that he needed to stop worrying about the past and focus on the future. He did just that, and by the 29th, although still working and tired, he had completely surprised everyone, including himself. He had done it, and would never have to do what he had just done again, and for the first time in the month, felt great about himself and energetic. This was short-lived, however, as the pointless things that he had been working on and worrying about the entire time had caught back up to him, as he was still getting little rest and countless distractions emerged from countless others. He forgot about the one thing that mattered most, that this was indeed the last month in which he would live in this place, and this beloved place that he didn't realize mattered to him so much was falling apart day by day, right in front of him. Others were not supportive of him all along. They were selfish. He was selfless. They told lies to him about what was to be in store for him in the coming days: "It would never happen." While all that was happening, and all the way through June, he still did not come to notice once how little the things he was working on mattered, and that he was just hurting himself tirelessly, painfully, and mentally. He should have made it clear that he was going to do whatever he wanted to do, not what was hurting him and didn't make a difference. Things were looking like they were gonna be in his favor towards the end. All he had to do was press a button, and the last thing he wanted to accomplish in the month would be accomplished, although not in the way he had envisioned at the start, but accomplished nonetheless. However, he was more tired than he had ever been. All the things he had done to himself leading up to that point had built up way too much for him to handle, and although he wanted to do it before the end of June, for reasons that did not matter, he gave himself until 3 AM, the morning of July 1st. It did not happen. Countless alarms that he had set did not alter the peaceful sleep he was enjoying. 3 PM had passed, and he would not wake up until way into the afternoon of the first day of the new and refreshing month. Indeed, he woke up and immediately thought "NO!" to himself and himself only, but it would eventually lead him to realize that he had won the battle all along. He had tried his best, and in the end, this particular month of June was just a learning experience for him. He would start doing the things that mattered to him and others most, not worrying about the countless pointless things that he encountered on a day to day basis. The changes to his life in July that he was worried about occurred so fast, but it was not without its purpose. That place that he had lived in and the people that he lived with there would not be forgotten, but he had finally let those thoughts be a thing of the past, something to embrace, and not constantly worry about. Two years later at the end of a new June, the human who has already graduated says: "I wish you'll be happy."

Maribel: “Wow, was this story obtained through the Netherworld?”
Renko: “Yes. Indeed it was… but there’s just one thing about it.”
Maribel: “And what’s that?”
Renko: “It doesn’t have to do with the Netherworld.”
Maribel: “Huh? What do you mean by that?”
Renko: “It has to do with our world.”
Maribel: “What? What makes you say such a thing?”
Renko: “It said -LTE (2019.06.30) on the back of the relic.”
Maribel: “Really? It did? And did you take a picture of that?”
Renko: “Well… unfortunately, for some reason, it won’t let me take a picture.”
Maribel: “Are you serious? You got a great picture of the story on the front of the relic itself.”
Renko: “Yes, my camera shuts off immediately whenever I try to capture a snapshot of the back.”
Maribel: “But you still saw it?”
Renko: “You bet. I wonder what it means to a larger extent though.”
Maribel: “Your guess is as good as mine… actually I take that back; yours is probably better.”
Renko: “Haha. Well for now let’s just let that story sink in for a little bit. I’m sure the underlying meaning will come to one of our minds eventually.”
Maribel: “Sounds like a plan, I am the perfect analyzer when it comes to reading things after all!!”
Renko: “Oh sure you are.”
Maribel: “I’m not lying though!!”
Renko: “Shoot you got me there, you never tell a lie.”
Both girls soon proceed to analyze the story further while listening to a magnificent album released at a popular convention. The girls depicted on the album’s front cover seem pretty similar to how they appear in real life, which is why they picked up the album at the event after stumbling upon it at a booth in the first place.
